At least since 1794, after finishing the ceremony at the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi and having resumed the Parade through the streets del Pi, dels Boters, la plaça Nova, the Avenue of the Cathedral, el pla de la Seu and the street of Santa Llúcia, there is the traditional visit to the Episcopal Palace.

Having reached the Palace the parade is received by the bishop, or one of his delegates and, in the courtyard of the palace, the following dances of honor are performed by the elements of courtship, in this order: the Eagle of the City, the Centennial Giants of Sant Roque of Plaça Nova (Laietà and Roc), the small giants Gal·la and Pippo, the dwarf Cu-cut, the Lion of Barcelona, the baton dancers of the Esbart Català de Dansaires and the Devil of Sant Roc.
