Aside from the "Cucanya" (greasy-pole) other popular street games have been present for the Feast of Sant Roc, at least, since the celebrations of the eighteenth century. A publication from 1860 includes the ring games held in the Plaça Nova for the festivities of Sant Roc.
Currently, traditional games have reserved at least an afternoon of the feast. Aside from the "cucanya", which is present every day of the feast, the game evening is held with games like: breaking the pot, sack races and egg-and-spoon races, the ring, "xocolata i el melindro", the apple and flour, the espadrille or pull the rope.
