Since more than a hundred and fifty years ago a great "traca" (chain of firecrackers) wakes up the neighborhood announcing the day of Sant Roc. A few years ago the Tronada Despertada (Thunderstorm Awakening) began at seven in the morning, but currently it starts at half past nine. Several pyrotechnicians have lit the Gran Tronada Despertada (Great Thunderstorm Awakening), the most distinguished of which was Dionisi Estapé, pyrotechnician and neighbor, who did it until his death. Currently the Tronada Despertada, which is two hundred meters long, is lit the members of the feast association.
